Why Fast Food Stores Should Be Banned From School Zones

McDonalds, KFC, Hungry Jacks, Red Rooster. The main culprits of the problems we have in school today. Kids are being metaphorically and literally ‘dragged’ into fast food places when they are right next to school. That is why fast food places should not be next to school zones.

My first reason is that the smell is so strong, it causes kids to become unfocused. Imagine you were in the middle of a maths test and then suddenly, a delicious, yummy smell fills your nose and causes you to loose concentration. Oily goodness, salty pleasure and then an absolute crave fills your stomach. Then you get your maths test results back and you scored 5/20. How depressing would that be? The divine smell of Maca’s will be taunting the minds OF THE LITTLE ONES! That is why fast food places should be banned next to school zones.

The second problem of having a fast food shop next to a school is that it gets very noisy. A school zone needs to be quiet and peaceful, not noisy and haphazard and not next to one of the most visited fast food stores. Who ever heard of McDonalds not being busy! That’s laughable.

My last reason but not least is that teachers find fast food stores the number on place to hang out at lunch and recess. And the after lunch, There are little coffee cups and burger boxes that have the giant, yellow M on it.. Teachers are on of the culprits of Global Warming we have today. And it’s not only teachers, It’s the other knuckleheads that ‘forget’ to throw out their rubbish and that rubbish is blown into the school. If fast food stores were banned from school zones, There would be a lot fewer announcements saying “Enviro reps, please spend 20 minutes cleaning up all the rubbish in the school including all the McDonald rubbish that has been ‘blown’ into our school”

In conclusion, fast food places should be banned from school zones because the smell is distracting, the noise is distracting and the rubbish is making our school dirty. And do you know what’s even worse? I AM CRAVING McDONALDS AND GETTING DISTRACTED!!!
